Tips for Dads & Daughters Watching the Super Bowl Together

Ah, the Superbowl.
Perhaps you've already made your plans for the Sunday's big event -- shopped for chips, washed your jersey, etc. But have you figured out how you're going to deal with those moments when you want to cover your daughter's eyes? Like during a raunchy commercial, or a racy halftime dance routine.
The national nonprofit Dads & Daughters provides these smart tips for fathers and stepfathers watching the Super Bowl (and other TV sporting events) with their daughters.
Mouthing Off for Healthier Food
“The Mouths of the world are finally speaking out,” says the new Mouth Revolution viral film that launched from Free Range Studios yesterday. “They’re fed up with the 'garbage' we eat and they’re demanding real food - organic food -- now!”
“As gateways to the human body, they’re taking action and staging an international “Shut Up” until their demands are met,” bellows the funky commando-style chin.
Yep. You heard right. An upside-down talking chin in a Che Guevara beret asking “mouths of the world to unite in revolution” and take a stand against trans fats, artificial ingredients, GMOs and pesticides! These guys DO crack me up.
What to Do About Baby Media

The members of the Campaign for a Commercial Free Childhood fired off an angry open letter to President Bush after last week's State of the Union address, angry that Bush celebrated Baby Einstein founder Julie Aigner-Clark in his speech.
"It is extremely disappointing that the President used his State of the Union address to provide a free infomercial for a company built on false and deceptive marketing," began the letter. "Despite its claims, there is no evidence that watching Baby Einstein videos is educational for babies and toddlers."
