Next Frontier for Ad Industry is Video Games

It's getting harder and harder these days for advertisers to cut through the clutter and reach young people. The ad industry's solution? Follow young people to their favorite media hangouts -- even video games.

In-game advertising is on track to become a huge business. Midway games announced this month that it was opening up more ad options in its games, and Microsoft has recently purchased a video game ad placement firm.

Burger King has taken a bit of a different approach to the video game ad market: they've bypassed gamed developers and published three XBox video games themselves featuring their creepy mascot, 'The King'. The games will be sold in Burger King restaurants. Check out the story here.
